I thought that one would come back to me. I was hoping to throw it out there and see if it grew legs of its own. Guess I'll need to look into it....
... but it seems to me that the local biking community has a lot of followers, and not so many leaders. If you plan something and advertise it appropriately (putting it on this site qualifies), people will come. Often lots of people, if it sounds like fun.
There's likely to be the World Naked Bike Ride in June, somebody will probably organize an Austin part of that, and people will show up. Not exactly the same as what you're proposing, but similar. Perhaps keep an eye out for it, and talk to whomever organizes it ...
