Looks like Art Alliance Austin and Mellow Johnny's are teaming up to host a series of short art rides for people who don't have to work during the day or something. Here's ride 1 of 5:

Wednesday, April 22
Downtown Public Art Bike Tour
Noon, Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop, 400 Nueces St

Celebrate Art Week Austin by joining us for a lunchtime ride exploring some of the public art works in Butler Park, the Mexican American Cultural Center and the Convention Center. We’ll be joined by a docent tour guide to fill us in on the artists and the pieces themselves. The total distance is less than 4 miles and will travel at a novice-friendly pace. Ride organizer: Eileen Schaubert at eileen@mellowjohnnys.com or 512-426-4851.

All this has to do with Art Week Austin. How many people have the luxury of attending a noon ride on a weekday? If you do, tell me what that's like...
