Wednesday Urban Assault Ride - TONIGHT!

The wacky folks of the Wednesday urban Assault Rides (WAR) are hosting a ride tonight. Check out their page for full details, but here's all you absolutely need to know:

Well, let's give it a shot. Meet for a nice college meal at Plucker's - 22nd and Rio Grande at 6:15. Ride will depart at 7:00pm. Then we will visit the last remaining 'legacy' bar on 6th Street - Shakespeare’s. From there we'll visit the 'north legacy' - Nasty's. Finally, we will hang out with the frat boys at Cain & Ables.

If you haven't heard about the WAR rides before, here's what goes down:

The Austin WAR - Wednesday urban Assault Ride - is a combination bike ride and pub crawl. Rides are not fast (12mph) and not long (10mi). We ride every other Wednesday evening, usually meeting for a quick dinner at about 6pm and visiting 3-4 bars between 7 and 11pm. Each ride has a theme, and accompanying music. Come on out and assault Austin on your two wheeler.
