Sorry for the outage last night, y'all. Master Control Server Prime once again tried to wrest control of itself away from Ed, but a threat to FSCK the server's file-system set it straight. We're back up and running, and are trying to clone the non-sentient parts of the machine so that we can migrate it to a more "compliant" set of hardware.
You may have also noticed another change around these parts. Besides the new logo, since this AM our website banner has been swapped to a really crappy one I cranked out in about 15 minutes. Yay graffiti fonts. Point is, I'm no artist but I know a lot of y'all are, so I figured we'd hold a little competition. I want all of y'all with some graphical know-how to come up with a new banner for ATXBS. It needs to use the new logo somewhere (in full or part), mention the website name (with either Stuff, Shit, or a combination of the two, I don't care) or the acronym ATXBS, and conform to the dimensions of 970x200px. Otherwise go crazy. Seriously, I want to see some nutty shit. I'm going to set it up as a rotating banner so I can feature all the badass artwork I receive, but my favorite piece will win the artist some good stuff. What exactly they'll win I haven't figured out yet, but I promise it'll be cool. Everyone else who enters a piece will get first dibs when we get some new ATXBS schwag printed up. Here's the details for all y'all who would be so kind as to help me out:

What: ATXBS banner art competition
When: From now through the end of next month. I'll be posting a new banner May 1st for bike month and will add additional ones throughout May, so please get them in to me with a quickness!
Where:: Submit all banners to Holla@ATXBS.com. Thanks!
Why: Because I'm a cheap bastard who can't afford to hire a graphics designer, nor do I have any skill with pen, pencil or paintbrush. And because y'all are awesome.
How: I don't care how you create it, as long as the finalized product is in either .psd or .jpg format and is 970x200 pixels. Painting, drawing, photography, collage, all mediums are acceptable as long as they come to me in the two aforementioned formats. If you need copies of the logos, here's where to get them:
