Mellow Johnny's rides are going to the dogs...

I was poking around the Mellow Johnny's Event Calendar and saw a rather interesting looking ride coming up this Saturday morning:

Do you like bike riding with your canine companion? Would you like to bike ride with your canine companion? Come check out how those doggies are getting around. We'll have a gear show-and-tell starting at 9:00. At 9:30 we start rolling and make a stop at Lofty Dog for some treats by our friends at Bark for Peace. Then it's off to Woofstock at Waterloo Park. Let's see your transport solution! Please note that Woofstock requires leashes and signed waivers for dogs entering the festival grounds. If crowds make your fur friends a bit stressed, please leave them relaxing at home.

Badass! I've got a couple dogs and a trailer, I may have to bring 'em and see how this ride goes. If nothing else it's a great excuse to get outside with your four-legged friends and take them to the park.

P.S. Mellow Johnny's has really been stepping up and providing some great services to the downtown biking community, and all throughout bike month their commuter services are FREE. Make sure to check them out if you haven't had a chance, the shop has pleasantly surprised me.
