Police breaking the same laws they use against cyclists? News at 10...

An ATXBS reader notified me of this story being run tonight on the 10 o'clock KXAN news:

Maybe they should redirect some of their "crackdown" energy and fervor into dealing with the various scofflaws and ne'er-do-wells that exist amongst the ranks of their government-sanctioned gang of ruffians. The full story airs at 10 tonight, but in their online teaser they mention the following quote:

"The only time that you're justified to do that and the only time you are legally free to do that is when your lights are on," said Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo.
