A message from Damon about the Full Moon Cruise...

Damon just emailed me and wanted to share the following message with all y'all..

Ya'll rock. many apologies for the late response on everything, im just a slacker. I went for a wild ride April 13th at 10 in the morning, a chevy silverado ran a stop sign while i was in the crosswalk, it t-boned me and my 20 inch and drug me under vehicle until halfway in the first lane. The front passenger tire stopped on top of my knees, while im yelling at him & hitting his fenders other people ran up freakin out and telling him to reverse off. luckily just me knees were under the tire with my pretty little S&M lifting the truck just enough to spare my legs attachment. So, I thought i could just chill out a couple of weeks maybe 3, painfully 4, and lead this ride again. It ain't gonna happen, my right knee got a torn ACL, cartilage damage, tear of meniscal ligaments, complex tear of the posterior horn and all this other stuff, and whatever suprapatellar bursitis is.

This Full Moon Ride on the 9th will be all ya'll, sorry for the short notice,but I know as sure as the moon's their ya'll gonna ride. Just remember don't outrun Stereo Bob, party like you mean it, no littering, don't run when the cops show up, someone without a beer in their hand just go up to them and tell them what's goin on and they'll leave, ride safe, and i want to see pictures. Thank all of ya'll for showing up for these rides, Jason you rock and ATXBS will keep me alive till i can ride!!

Sounds like a pretty brutal injury, glad to hear his legs are still attached at all! In the meantime, never fear! The full moon cruise goes on as always, on the nights of the full moon at 11:59pm from the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge. As Damon said, please keep sight of Bob's stereo and try not to overtake him. It's a ride not a race, and we don't want to ditch the tunes. I'll see all y'all out there Saturday!
