You are hereI have two declarations.
I have two declarations.
1) Chris Riley fucking rules! From what I heard on the ride he won with about 65% of the vote, and is now our best voice and advocate on the City Council. I expect to be talking to him a lot in the future.
2) The full moon cruise was AWESOME! I just got back from the after-cruise kegger in Eastwoods Park, but holy shit was that a good time. We went north/north-west this time around. I'll do a proper write-up later but before I crashed I wanted to say DAMN Boone, you sure can put together a fun ride. Thanks for hosting and for putting up with the mob.
Tonight was a great bike night in Austin for so many reasons; it's going to take a whole lot to top it.
This was my first Full Moon ride so I knew I had to ride it in style... I was the guy with the glowstick bike (http://www.flickr.com/photos/joseole/3522794384) and I just wanted to say that this trumped Critical Mass ten-fold. Had a bunch of party hopping to do that night so I didn't ride till the sun came out, but I can't wait for the next one!
First full moon ride for me and it was damn good. Looking forward to the next one. Lost my sombrero at some point but I saw someone with it later on. Hope they put it to good use.
Dude the ride was sick!!!! I only stayed til 4ish but it solidified why the moonlight rides are my absolute favorite group rides.ever. Great friends, weather, drinks, scenery, mileage!
Yeah this was the best bike weekend ever. Not a whole lot wil probably EVER top it !
