Jackalope hooks us up the ENTIRE MONTH of June!

While the site was down over the weekend I read this great bit of news over at the Pedalbug Blog. Thanks for keeping us bikers informed Keith!

Jackalope Extends Bike Month

In the month of June, if you ride your bike to the Jackalope and mention to your bartender that you did (they will take your word for it), your Lonestars are only a buck for all of June. My buddy owns the place and wanted to keep bike month going so he’s giving the cyclists around town an extra reason to keep on riding.

My friend, who has been a local cyclist here for well over 20 years, wants to show some love for the scene.

Dollar Lonestars?!? Y'all really know how to appeal to us cyclists. I know where I expect to see a lot of y'all evading the hot summer daylight hours next month; I'll definitely be there. Yet another reason why The Jackalope is bar-none my favorite drinking establishment on 6th St. An indoor bike rack, dollar lonestars, naked velvet paintings, and beautiful tattooed freaks people on both sides of the bar. What's not to love?
