I just got the word about a Memorial Ride for Christie Constante, a local cyclist and Critical Mass participant who passed away earlier this month. Here are the details:

Christie Constante Battled Cancer for 15 months, she lost the battle on may 7th.
Christie's dying wish was to have a bike ride in her honor and for everyone to be able to come out and ride. She wanted people to fall in love with biking like she did. This ride is going to be very slow paced and mellow its going to be a great ride for newer/lesser skilled riders, yet still fun for the old pros. So grab your family and friends tell them to dust off there bikes and come out ridin. lets give this awesome bike chick her dying wish.

Ps. the meeting point is a school where Christie used to work at its at 32nd and I-35 on the east side just north of star seeds

Please show up this Sunday and honor a local cyclist who passed too soon, and was victimized by a bullshit healthcare system. Please be there on time.
