The re-scheduled Midnight Moonlight Tower Tour - THIS SATURDAY!

Last weekend we were supposed to ride but due to inclement weather the organizer decided to schedule it for the following week...

which brings us to THIS SATURDAY!

Midnight Moonlight Tower Ride
When: Sat, May 30, 11:59pm – 11:59pm

Description: The moonlight towers were first erected in the late 19th century. Come ride to all the ones that remain. “We get rolling at 12:15 so we can get to the 7-11 on 15th and Lamar before cut off time. You can ride as fast as you want but I’m taking it nice and easy. Just a fun ride.” Words from the ride leader

This is an 18+ mile ride that visits all 17 remaining Moonlight Towers. The plan is to follow the route of the previous year, which has been plotted out on this map. If you'd like to read more information about the towers, as well as a list of the 17 that still stand, read this brief write-up. Unfortunately it doesn't address the Servant Girl Annihilator, for whom the towers were rumored to be raised. Good stuff.
