I thought long and hard about it the past few days but after lots of debating, hand-wringing, and going back and forth amongst several MORE THAN QUALIFIED candidates (and then there's this thing), I've finally decided on the winner of the Bike Month ATXBS Banner Competition, and there-by the limited edition "you'll never find another one" Selle Italia Fausto Coppi saddle.

And the winner is...

KEVIN!

Though he's specifically winning for his old-timey banner all of his submissions were top notch, and it was a combination of his multiple banners as well as his incredible poster series that put him over the top and won him the saddle. I want to thank all the entrants for their numerous submissions, but I especially want to thank Amelia, who was in the CLOSEST OF CLOSE second place, and who came up with my favorite non-banner image. Talk about advertising to your target audience! Thanks again everyone, I really appreciate all the submissions and I'm going to keep the rotating banners going, so if you have any other 970x200 pixel images you want to see at the top of my page feel free to send 'em in!

Speaking of announcements, nothing warms the cockles of my heart like mentioning a bike-oriented craigslist missed connection:

You were wearing a yellow shirt and riding a grey fixed gear. You split up from the group...then showed up at Zilker.

You are one amazing rider.

Hey amazing lady rider on the gray fixed gear, some biker guy is looking for you.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love pictures? Ken added a gallery of Critical Mass Beach Party pics to his facebook profile so check 'em out if you're one of them facebooker types.

Daniel also has a great mix of pictures from the last few days over at Thy Neighbors Bike, including this killer group shot of Critical Mass at a fountain:

Beyond his Critical Mass entry he also covered Frankenbike, where he managed to pick up quite the pile of loot.

I know a lot more of you had cameras out there, both at Critical Mass AND the Moon Tower Tour. So who's got the pics? Let's see 'em!
