The Austin Parks and Recreation Department invites the public to a BMX/Skate Park Conceptual Design Presentation, Tuesday, March 11, 2008, 7:30 p.m., at the Austin Recreation Center Gymnasium,1301 Shoal Creek Blvd. Kyle Dion of New Line Skate Parks will be on hand to review the conceptual design and solicit feedback from the public.
Also on the agenda, Art in Public Places will provide an Artist Information Presentation. This is for the artists who are interested in applying for the public art project so they may see the proposed design, discuss the potential for integrating artwork into the design with the consultants, learn how to apply, and what to include in their statement of intent.
