Mr. Dancakes' Pedal-powered Move!

Tomorrow evening Andrew of the ThirdCoastFixed blog is going to be moving from the east side to north-central, and he wants to do it entirely by bicycle! If you want to help out bring your bike, trailer, panniers, biggest messenger bag, and whatever other human-powered moving gear you may have, and show up at Fast Folks (East 6th and Pedernales) around 7:15pm. i’ve mentioned this to a few people over the last couple of weeks, but i am officially organizing a bike powered move to my new house this tuesday.

lee gresham from our neighbor shop east side pedal pushers is graciously loaning me his long john for the move. thanks lee!

plan on meeting at fast folks at 7:15ish on tuesday and rolling at 8 to my house on east mlk then to the new house on north loop accross from epoch! i WILL have everything boxed up and ready to move. we WILL be making several trips, as i have some furniture to move, so come hang out for as long or as little as you want!

cargo bikes, baskets, panniers, and big bags are all welcome! this will be happening whether i am the only one there or 30 people show up! some refreshments may be provided, but since i have the house to myself for most of the week, we might as well turn this into a bike happening!

tuesday is also the first day of our tubular tuesday deal at fast folks! tubes are only $2.50 on tuesdays. we only have 700cc in stock now, but soon we will have any other type you need, so come stock up!
