First fruits of Leslie's FOIA request trickle in, proving what we already knew: RICK PERRY IS A HUGE DICK

Leslie Luciano just sent out some very interesting numbers stemming from her FOIA request. These are the for and against calls and emails concerning the vetoed Safe Passing Bill, and show HUGELY OVERWHELMING support FOR the bill:

Phone calls during session:
For: 1060
Against: 45

Emails:
For: 185
Against: 50 (some were counted 4 times/same letter—some 2 times) --closer to 40 against

Calls from 2:45pm - 5:00pm prior to veto
For: 995
Against: 3

That last statistic is the number of for and against phone calls received by the Governor's office in the 2 hours and 15 minutes precluding that prick vetoing the bill, and shows what we can do when we mobilize as a community. Talk about being on the ball at a moments' notice, way to go y'all! That was all you guys.

From the sound of things they've been giving her the runaround regarding the meat of the data, but thanks to federal law they can't hold out forever. Thank you for looking into this and following up with the right folks, Leslie. I'm glad to know we have people like you fighting the good fight on our behalf.
