LONE STAR RIDE - TEXAS SHOWDOWN EDITION - Repost

After taking a week off to defer seniority to the oh-so-wonderful Moontower ride, the Lone Star ride is back again this week with our most daring trek yet!

It is with a heavy heart that we report that one of Austin's finest bars, the Texas Showdown Saloon, will be closing its doors permanently on the 15th of May. With that in mind, we're throwing one hell of a tour that ends at the door of one of Central Texas's finest drinking establishments, giving the old place one final send-off before it's too late.

This week's voyage will be a roller coaster ride of thrills, chills and hopefully no spills as our courageous legs will take us to the hill country of Southwest Austin. Gears and brakes are by no means required, but they certainly won't hurt. There are a few suspended climbs that will crush your soul, but your reward will be a heavenly set of downgrades that are sure to bring a smile to your face.
