Bicycle Film Festival Bike Polo Tournament Day 2: Double Elimination FINALS!

The fine folks of the Austin Texas Bike Polo Social Club have joined forces with the Bicycle Film Festival to bring you not just one but TWO days of Bike Polo tournament goodness. Saturday is the round-robin round, Sunday will be double-elimination play based on Saturday's results...

Austin Texas is proud to host it's first ever Bike Polo Tournament, and what better way then during the Bicycle Film Festival. The tournament will be the standard 3v3 format. If you can't make it out to the North American Hardcourt Bike Polo Championships, come to Austin instead!

There will be tons of stuff going on for the Film Festival

Tentative Schedule:

Saturday

Registration at 11:00 a.m. $15 per team covers it all
Games will begin at High Noon
with a Round Robin style 1st Round Tournament
There will be some food and drinks provided
Games will be informal with pick up interspersed

Sunday

Teams will be seeded based on the Round Robin Results
Game play will begin at High Noon
with a Double Elimination Tournament
Food and Drinks will be provided again

We will try and have some other random games going on to keep it fun, expect relay races, footdown, shooting games, etc. After each day's play we will have organized rides to some of our sponsors, local bars, and swimming holes. Bring what you need for these events and be ready to have fun.

The cost to enter the tournament is $15 per team and it covers both days of play. All games take place at Metz Park (Canterbury and Pedernales), just a short ride away from BFF HQ. There'll be PLENTY of room to spectate and the playing fields are 100% SHADED, so if you want to beat the heat during the day come out and watch a few games, or even take part in a pick-up game if you feel the urge. All supplies will be provided except BIKES so bring your own.
