The Bicycle Film Festival is ONE WEEK AWAY. Here's a complete schedule...
Ladies and gentlemen, start your bicycles! We're ONE WEEK AWAY from the biggest weirdo bike event to happen in town: the Bicycle Film Festival! This year they've nearly DOUBLED the number of days included in the festival, and EASILY blew the last year out of the water with regards to scope of events, films, after parties, tournaments, trick comps, and everything else you can think of. Here's the festival trailer to get you amped, but read on for links to 5 days worth of EVERY BFF-affiliated event in town:
The best way to experience the Bicycle Film Festival is by buying a festival pass, which will get you into everything but the Bikes Rock Kickoff party and the bike Polo Tournament (though spectating is free). Damn. Looking back that's 19 events over 5 days. Two words: FUCK YES.
I'm so there. If you want to participate but are either short on the ducats or long on free time, VOLUNTEER TO HELP THE BFF! It's a good cause, it gets you into free shows, and it gets you the gratitude of an excellent crew of cyclists. If you haven't talked to them about volunteering for a checkpoint or as a ticket-taker, I strongly urge you to do so RIGHT NOW. They're low on volunteers and need all the help you can get so drop Jillian a line and find out what you can do.
