Roll Beyond Coal needs help planning/organizing a bike ride. Can you help?
An organization called Roll Beyond Coal has been in contact with me over the past month or so, and is planning on organizing a big bike ride to protest coal power. I'm not even going to get into my politics with regards to energy generation, as it'd probably piss a lot of y'all off any I'm sure everybody knows how much I love to keep people happy. If this is something you're interested in, or if you'd like to help plan their rides, show up to this meeting tonight:
Austin folks, You’re invited to dinner at 6:30 tonight before the 7 pm conference call. We’ll have pizza, suds plus non-alky drinks, and choco chip cookies – YUM.
Let’s build an awesome Roll Beyond Coal mass bike ride for Austin…starting tonight!
Can we sync up our mobilization to positively influence the process of the Cities’ Generation Task Force and bring some light on that process – get the right recommendations? Hope to see you tonight Wed., July 29, 6:30 PM at Sierra Club, 1202 San Antonio St.
Feel free to bring other bike organizers who could help get the momentum rolling.
Questions or suggestions? Feel free to call. Donna 477-1729 or 299-5776
I wanted to remind you of tonight’s conference call to start planning the Roll Beyond Coal biking events for this fall.
I look forward to getting started on this project with you!
If you can, you may want to sit at a computer during the call so we can look at some resources that I’ll email to you before the call happens.
