I've been a bit under the weather today but I wanted to drag myself out of my malaise to post a few things that have been sent to me. First off the organizers of last Tuesday's Yellow Bike Project fundraiser/alleycat just sent me a list of the winners as well as a short race/prize support:

Overall:
1) Sterling
2) Chris S.
3) Neal
4) Chris I.
5) Mark J.
6) Billy H.
7) Dan Cakes
8) Ryan
9) Tom
10) Santiago

Fixed:
1) Sterling
2) Chris S.

Lady:
1) Jasmine
2) Kate

Out of town:
1) Tom Lusardi
2) Daniel Campos

Sterling took home the top prize which was a white 55cm Scrambler V2 frameset courtesy of EightInch.com. Included was a seatpost, seat clamp, and headset. Chris S. was also able to come away with some good fortune as he grabbed two gift certificates for powdercoats at Willits Bikes. Other prizes included Chrome hip pouches and a Rickshaw Bagworks messenger bag, all of which came with bottle opener/15mm socket wrench combos. We had 31 people show up in all and thanks to all of the sponsors that meant that everyone got a prize, even if it was just a t-shirt. Sponsors were: EightInch.com, Willits Bicycle Brand, Chrome Industries, Rickshaw Bagworks, Homeslice Pizza, FlashBak light systems, Spokepunchers, Bird's Barbershop, Dominion Bicycle Company, Leader Bike USA, Ozone Bikes, and Double A Caps.

DAMN! I knew the prize support was going to be out of control and I was right. I really should have raced this one...

In other news the full moon cruise was a TOTAL SUCCESS!!! I had a blast, Bob (not that Bob, the other Bob) had the most incredible ultraportable bike stereo/tv EVER playing music videos and old-school nudie flicks, the regular Bob brought his tunes and array of neon lights, Doug took pictures, and all of y'all brought yourselves in DROVES! Jamie also had a camera out there and shot photos of the ride, as well as a showing of Goonies up at Central Market from earlier in the evening. There were a couple crashes, including one where a lady got nailed by a DEER! I shit you not, I saw it happen right in front of me, and it was spectacular. She was ok besides a few cuts and scrapes, and the doe took off immediately so I can only assume she was ok as well. We rode the west side, hit a popular east side swimming hole, and ended the ride around 5am up at Epoch. By then we'd dwindled to about 13 hardcore riders, but we all agreed that it was a great ride. Hell, it even seemed that the COPS were on our side, as the only ones we encountered cleared out as soon as we rolled up on the scene. Wacky! Thanks for showing up y'all, and remember that next month is the big annual Harvest Moon Ride. That means it starts after the bars close Saturday night (technically Sunday morning) at 2am. BRING EVERYONE.

P.S. Great job on herding a bunch of surly bikers Whiteside! I enjoyed the ride thoroughly, the ride was chill, and holy shit did we cover a good stretch of Austin. Take the reigns anytime, my friend.

Just wanted to tell everyone thank you for hosting us on your ATX ride! Being an Austinite myself, and now living in SA, I'm glad to see that you guys showed us a good time! We will return next month with even more riders from SA! Woot! Thank you Whiteside for giving us one hell of a night... we kept chasing the moon all the way home, trying to outrun the sun. See you soon!

We're so glad y'all came down. You're a welcome addition to our rides anytime!

Wooh! Good job tom. Wish i could have been there for the full moon.
