According to their main site, the UT Bike Auction has been scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 3rd on the roof of Trinity Garage (Trinity and 18th St). Viewing will begin at 5PM and the silent auction kicks off half an hour later.
They've got BMXs, cruisers, hybrids, kid (mini) bikes (great for tunnel bombing), mountain bikes (the large majority of the collection), and of course the ubiquitous road bikes. Not all of the bikes are complete, most are pretty low end, but I expect the sale prices to reflect these facts. If you ever needed a couple cheapo bikes to turn into a tallbike, these might be perfect for you.
i found a peugeot frame ( http://www.utexas.edu/parking/transportation/biking/graphics/auction/roa... ) that i've got my heart set on, but unfortunately I have class that day. i need to find someone who is attending the auction that i can give cash to that could bid for me. i'd even give them extra cash for their own bids.
i have a severe emotional attachment to peugeot frames due to an ex girlfriend. please let me know if you can help me. atx406@gmail.com

Holy shiiiiiiiiiiit, that's a nice Pinarello. Wonder who left that behind?
Please don't make a tall bike out of that.
Dude if I got that bike the only things I'd change are the pedals and the grip tape. No tallbikes or fixed gear/single speed conversions out of a bike that nice!
