Quick report from last night and a bit of GOOD NEWS!
Last night's pantie raid ride was AWESOME! The spots Mims picked to chill were all top notch, the bars were chill, and to everybody who bought me a beer during my short period of forced pauperism, THANK YOU! The spooky game of twister was freaking awesome, they seriously couldn't have found a better place for it. No matter how many new rides come and go, the Midnight Ridazz pub crawls will always hold a special place in my heart. With the exception of a bum who was upset at being awoken from his slumber, I don't think we pissed anyone off this time around. Good times y'all. Doug made it out to the earlier parts of the ride including the pillow fight on the bridge, so take a gander at his gallery for some good stuffs. Now what I really want to know is, who's got the twister pics? Cough 'em up, y'all.
I also just read some real good news for a couple local pedicabbers: Ken's cab has been RECOVERED! As soon as the cab vanished he put the word out on social networking sites, blogs, forums, and flyered the hell out of the area. Turns out the flyers are what did it, and with the help of a couple friends his cab was recovered and is being sent back to Austin, safe and sound. Happy ending!
This one's for all you racers and race spectators out there: The Driveway Crits WILL be running tomorrow night! Check their site for a full schedule and directions on how to get out there. They'll be riding the "Grand Prix" course this week, and all races will start with a lap of silence to honor a fallen cyclist.
It was my first time riding with that group and oh my goodness, was it ever fun! Very chill indeed. Loved the Lustre Pearl.
