Simon Z just sent me the following excerpt from a documentary about Austin Critical Mass in the 90s. I'm really looking forward to this months' ride, and hope to see y'all out there!

If you want to see this video in its' entirety please come out to the Bike-In Movie (and safety presentation) at the Radical Dixie Ranch on the Wednesday before Critical Mass (the 28th).
heh, i love the part with home dude in the car yelling at the bikers, and he has a bike in the trunk.
I think I spotted the much much younger version of myself, that video is great, I had not seen that before. whats the name of it? where can I find a copy? lots of the people that are in that video are still here and still ride I wonder why they dont show up to mass now. I like how theres lots of different styles of bikes, and no tight pants.
fixed gears are like butt holes, every one has one.
Yeah I love the great variety of bicycles from earlier videos and pictures of Critical Mass. Makes me want to build myself a tall-bike and contribute to the freakbike population myself. This excerpt is from a 47 minute documentary called "Bike like you mean it", by Susan Kirr. She released it in 2002 but honestly this is all I've seen of it. I'm going to try and hunt down a copy and will let you know if I do.
Yeah, they definitely had a lot looser pants in the 90s. And more flannel. ;)
