Walmart bike thieves! Be on the lookout!

I just saw this ad posted to Craigslist earlier this week. Take heed y'all:

Watch for these Thieves! (WalMart Parking Lot)

Be on the lookout for a white trash looking man and woman in a red/silver 80's pickup with back center window broken out TX plate 91Y-YB8. Caught them trying to make off with my bike that was LOCKED in it's rack (idiots). I'm sure they would have made off with it if it wasn't secured! APD could not do anything as "nothing happened" so I guess you have to let the theives finish their job. This was in South Austin off of 35/Slaughter but I'm sure they troll all over.

Thanks for the tip, tipsters! And make sure you LOCK YOUR BIKE no matter where it is. If it's outside, in public view, it's a target. When I leave my bike on the rack I have a cable that attached to the INSIDE of my trunk which I use to anchor the bike and rack to with a U-Lock. Even just locking to a car rack is not enough, as most racks are easily removed by cutting or loosening a few straps. Be careful, thieves are crafty!
