Thursday Night Social Ride - A special night and a trip to the T1 RAMP!
Update: Even more news from Keith about the Social Ride and the T1 stop, mainly for those of us who are going to be ravenously hungry by that point in the day...
House Park Barbecue will be selling sausage wraps for a buck. As well, Chef Ross is cooking up some pulled pork sandwiches available for purchase as well. It's going to be like the fucking County Fair on Thursday.
Pulled pork sandwiches and other tasty grub on the cheap? Holy shit Keith, you're my hero. A little cotton candy and it practically WOULD be the county fair.
I just got word on this week's Social Ride, and it's going to go a little different than before. Sure we're going to ride around, drink beer, play bike games, and do all the other things that make this ride what it is, but it's the ending that's getting changed up a bit. Read on for the details:
Alright Social Cyclists, this week we are doing things a little differently. My good friend, Cera, has put together a really nice evening for us all. After some cycling, socializing and bike games for Ozone Bike Department prizes, we are heading to the Terrible One bmx/skate ramp for a keg party with bands (sorry, no bikes inside for the party). The Brimmers are playing a special gig just for us and there will be a few iced down kegs of free beer when we get there. They are calling this The Boogie Ride.
It's a little different program this week, but this stuff hasn't changed.
When: Thursday 7:30pm (we leave at 8 sharp)
Where: Pfluger Pedestrian BridgeWhat you need:
WATER : hot like fire outside
Lock : for locking
Bike Lights : for lighting
A valid ID stating you are 21 if you plan to go to the partyAnd if you happen to see Cera... tell her thanks and happy birthday.
Hell yeah, a party at the big BMX ramp with free beer and entertainment? Sounds like a good time. I guess they're IDing at the party so you've still got to provide that, but the atmosphere'll be a little chiller and allowing than your typical bar, which should be nice. Thanks for organizing this Keith!
Props to Keith for always keeping it fresh and interesting!
I do have to say though that Cera did all of the heavy lifting on this one. She secured venue, band, beer and most importantly... bathrooms. Thanks again Cera B! You can help me organize this anytime.
thanks to keith for letting me have some fun with his gig :) he's a sweet heart
