Annual Full Moon Cruise thoughts?

Since there's some discussion about the cruise going on, how about we discuss likes and dislikes and perhaps steer the ride toward a better general consensus?
I remember one of the Cruzes back in the day (back when it started at Palmer Auditorium-I miss that too, as much as I appreciate the bridge) that went up Bouldin, looped around somewhere, and came back down Robert E. Lee, then we headed west, completely skipping downtown, which has become my least favorite part of the ride. beyond that, the pace doesn't bother me, the stereos are easy to shy away from if you don't like the music... Some of the music is great and really helps to crank up the hills. I'd probably annoy more peeps with my selections.
The Palmer parking lot was fun, because you could ride around and see your friends more easily, and the drivers could park right there (though I doubt many drive nowadays...) and you could scare up a game of kick the bottle and the BMXers would show off a little (it's be polluted with fixed gear freestylers these days, but I digress...)
oleskool - I remember that ride well, and I agree, the route was a blast, as was the Palmer starting area. The ped bridge is too narrow and makes it impossible to find people. I don't mind downtown, but we should hit it later in the ride after the bars have more fully cleared out. A little cruze through the 04 would be a nice way to kill the first half an hour on some mellower streets.
