Bike Prom Alleycat - A couples race for EVERYONE!

Check this one out y'all. This has got to be one of the more interesting race ideas I've seen come out of the local organizers in some time:

That's right, it's a COUPLE'S RACE. Guess they figure if everything worked out for you at the Bike Prom the night before then you're all set for a partner, eh? I don't know if you actually have to be banging or not to be considered a couple, but if you don't have a better half just grab a friend and fake it! This is also one of the more economical races, as it's only $5 per pair, but you're limited to 1 bag between y'all. Meet at Fast Folks on 6th (near Pedernales) at 2:30pm to sign up, race goes off at 3. There's gonna be a party with DJs afterwards, and all proceeds go to benefit Ben Kanclerowicz who recently got his head busted by a car while helping a lady on her bike. Damn y'all, way to help a fallen cyclist out! I love the local bikers, such a great group of people.
