Texting Ban and 3-foot Passing Ordinance up for vote next week

Though it hasn't been getting much press, the City Beat blog mentioned yesterday that the City Council is bringing the Texting Ban and 3-foot passing ordinance (called for in a unanimously passed resolution last August) up for a vote NEXT week on the 22nd (Thursday). They haven't posted the text of the Ordinance on their informational site yet, but I asked Councilmember Mike Martinez when we could expect to see the ordinance, and he quickly responded saying it'll be published on Friday. I'll let y'all know when I see a copy of it, but it should be interesting to see how this law is actually written.
