Demo bike stolen from Hammerhead Bikes customer!
Yesterday I received the following email from Matt over at Hammerhead Bikes regarding a demo bicycle of theirs that was recently stolen:
I just wanted to get word out to you and on the site that our 2008 Ventana El Rey was stolen this morning from the garage of a customer. The bike was stolen around 7:30 am from a home in the Hunters Chase neighborhood, near McNeil and 183 in NW Austin.
The bike was a bright orange 29" full suspension with a White Brothers fork, Magura Louise brakes, XTR build kit, and a red front I9 wheel and a silver rear Hadley/Stan's wheel.
I'll see if I can find a better picture, but this should give folks an idea of what they are looking for.
Thanks a ton,
Matt

Jeebus! Bikes stolen from bars, bikes stolen from garages, almost makes me want to concrete an eyebolt in the middle of my floor and lock my bikes to it 24/7! Please keep an eye out for this rather nicely set up mountain bike, and if you happen to see it out and about let the guys at Hammerhead know.
i've heard of so many bikes stolen lately. everyone be careful with your gear.
this sucks! keep an eye out!
