Laura King of the Austin Cycling Association just clued me into an opportunity for all y'all lady cyclists out there:
A super-secret research firm is doing a market study for an un-named (but pretty cool) company, and is looking for women whose primary exercise activity is anything but running, so cycling would be perfect! The women can participate in other exercise activities, but they CANNOT do any running at all even as a secondary form of exercise. They need physically fit and active women between the ages of 25-49.
If selected, participants will attend the study, held on December 7th at 5:30pm and lasting between 1.5 to 2 hours. Each participant will receive $150 dollars and SWAG (giveaways) from the host company. The location will be in downtown and exact information will be disclosed when women qualify.
There will be a 5 minute pre-screener to see if an applicant qualifies, which she can do on the phone; subsequently she needs to do a 2 minute fact-to-face meeting, which she can discuss over the phone with each participant.
Interested participants can call 512-453-7444 and hit 1977 when the automated voice comes on. They can leave a voicemail indicating that they are calling about the womens' fitness research study and she will call them back.
Please feel free to pass this on to other women you think may be interested.
There you have it ladies. Ride a bike, help a study, make some money.
