Social Cycling ATX presents: Thursday Night Social Ride - B-Boys and Hip-Hop Honeys!

Keith was running a little behind and didn't get the post for today's Social Ride up on the intarwebz until late last night, so here it is for all y'all non-facebookers' viewing pleasure:

Hey Everyone! It's almost Thursday night and the Social Ride is almost upon us once again. This time we are riding, having a good time and dancing our asses off!

Where and When: Thursday December 3rd, 7pm at the Scoot Inn (map: http://tinyurl.com/yjdupfl). We leave around 8pm.

What: This week we are meeting at the Scoot Inn, taking a nice long cruise with a stop at what I hear is the greatest playground in town. Then we are heading down to Club Deville where the crew of Table Manners with Hobo D and Digg are spinning us some nice old school hip hop for a Social Ride dance party. From what I hear there will be a b-boy/b-girl crew putting on a break dancing exhibition for us as well as a projectionist artist displaying his work on the wall of the coolest patio downtown. Club Deville is throwing down the free beer for us, with cheap beer specials afterward to help ya'll with your flow.

How: We follow the rules of traffic. Stay to the right, in one lane. Stop at all redlights. Listen to your ride leaders. They have your safety in mind and are some nice people.

BRING: A helmet is always a good idea, but I am leaving that up to you. You ride at your own risk on the Social Ride. Lights, Lock and an ID if you plan on getting into the bars are necessities.

This is going to be a blast. Wear that clock on a gold chain around your neck, get your fade tight, rock those Chucks and for bike's sake... tip your bartenders!!!!

It's getting a bit chilly out but that's no excuse to not ride. Remember, the key to riding in cold weather is LAYERS! The after-ride event at Club DeVille sounds pretty fucking dope. I missed last month due to this brawl I had with a huge freaking bird, a pig, and all their sidekicks, but I'm on like Donkey Kong for tonight. 7pm at The Scoot. Wear those ADIDAS, and remember to bring the bills to tip for them free beers. See y'all out there!
