Just got word on some southside Happy Hour Bike Polo going down TONIGHT! They had such a good turnout last week they figured they'd make it something regular. The spot to play is Joslin Park (4500 Manchaca) and the time is somewhere after 5:

Alright Southsiders, round two of Happy Hour Bike Polo is a go for TONIGHT!

Last week's trial run was a huge success, with a great turn out for such short notice. I think we're on people's radar now so turn out should be even better this evening. People will start showing up around 5, but a lot of us work till then, so if you show up on-time and no one is there, hang tight.

Those of you who came out before will be glad to hear Miguel is bringing some cones this week so we don't have to use bricks again. We should also have a few extra mallets this time as well.

If this is the first time you've heard about the South side game, come out and say hello! There are benches for spectators, but I can't promise we won't try and talk you into playing.

Most of the folks who came out last week have only been playing for a couple months, and beginners are totally welcome. I know a lot of people want to try bike polo but either can't make it out to the Thursday/Sunday matches, or are intimidated by all the world-class players that frequent those games. I want to see Bike Polo in the X-Games someday, and for that to happen we need as many people involved and playing as possible, so bring your friends!
