Sorry Keith, Brooks and all the rest of y'all who asked me to post this yesterday. What can I say, I'm a slacker...

Hey Social Cyclists! This week is going to be a bit different... and by different I mean awesome! The coolest bike gang in town, the SkelliCyclists are taking over the Thursday Night Social Ride. Don't know about the Skellies? Check them out here: http://tinyurl.com/yeemrr9. Before I tell you a little about this weekend though I have an important announcement:

THERE WILL BE NO SOCIAL RIDE NEXT THURSDAY ON CHRISTMAS EVE. I'll be hanging out with family and thinking of ya'll but we will be taking a break. Save up your energy for the next week though when Whiteside and I will be bringing you a 12 hour cycling event on NEW YEARS EVE/DAY!

So without further adieu... here is Nam, the SkelliCyclist's fearless leader:

Hey folks! The Thursday Night Social Ride this week is going to spice things up a bit especially for you! The SkelliCyclists are taking over the ride this week and leading all of you on a little biking adventure. In the spirit of the holiday season, we're throwing a themed ride: Jesus/Mary vs Santa/Mrs. Claus! So get those awesome costumes on and get ready for a fun-filled ride.

WHEN and WHERE: Thursday 7pm at The Scoot Inn, we leave around 8pm

WHAT: The Skellies are going to guide ya'll on a nice ride through the east side & along town lake, with a stop to hang out for a little bit. The ride will ultimately land at Uncle Billy's on Barton Springs. They'll have free beer flowing for us, and cheap pints and calls with a very tasty late-night menu for the post ride munchies. TIP YOUR BARTENDERS.

HOW: We follow the rules of traffic. Stay to the right, in one lane. Stop at all redlights. Listen to your ride leaders. They have your safety in mind and are some nice people.

BRING: A helmet is always a good idea, but I am leaving that up to you. You ride at your own risk on the Social Ride. Lights, Lock and an ID if you plan on getting into the bars are necessities.

It has been cold lately, but that hasn't scared off the masses. Bundle up and come out and ride with us!

See everyone at The Scoot!

You heard the man... SEE YOU AT THE SCOOT!

Oh fuck yeah. The Skellies are the craziest, most active, more representin' bike gang in town, are fresh off their successful scavenger hunt/fundraiser, and now are taking over the Thursday ride? There's no stopping these guys (and gals)! 7pm at the Scoot Inn, and if I know Nam and the rest of the Skellies, I expect something excellent to go down tonight. I've been skipping events to try to let my arm heal up after bashing the shit out of it on Sunday, but fuck it, arm or no arm, I'M THERE TONIGHT. SKELLIES!!!

Fog Is Freaky!!
