Injured cyclist Mariel Mentink status information.

Sorry I haven't posted this sooner. Of the four cyclists I heard about that got hit by cars over New Year's, Mariel is the only one still in the hospital due to her injuries. If you want to keep updated as to her status, her family has created an online journal of her progress. From the sound of thing she's stable, improving and is responding to stimulus, but is still unconscious. Please keep her and everyone else injured over the last weekend in your thoughts. The fact that in EVERY SINGLE collision the driver fled the scene still makes me sick. Fucking assholes.
