East Side Yoga presents: Yoga for Bikers Workshop
As every real zombie hunter worth their salt knows, it's always important to limber up before engaging in any strenuous physical activity. Well, the same goes for riding a bike, and to help us out the people over at East Side Yoga (11th and Waller) are offering donation-based classes for cyclists this Sunday afernoon! Here are the details if you want to get in on the action:
Yoga for Biker's Workshop!!!
Come together. Breathe. Stretch. Ride. Be free.What we will do:
Active practice to help open, strengthen, and release muscle groups
associated with biking.Restorative practice to help calm the mind, and passively open the body in
reverse postures that are constricted by biking.Learn simple movements and stretches to take home to use before and after
biking.Where: East Side Yoga (1050 E 11th St at the corner of Waller)
When: January 10, 2010 2-3:30pm
Bring: Yr friends! All are invited.
Cost: By love donation! Pay what you can.
Very cool, y'all. Thanks for putting this shit on. If you decide to attend make sure you bring some dough if you have the means, as I can expect the shit you'll learn at this class will help you get loose for a long time to come. And tell a friend, though it's always fun to meet new folks at these things, having a familiar face around to make goofy faces at and try to distract is also pretty alright.
