Three, two, one... HAPPY BIRTHDAY POLO!!! Get ready to bike polo your fucking face off!

This weekend is the Austin Texas Bike Polo Social Club's first birthday, and they're celebrating it pretty much exactly as you'd expect: BY PLAYING POLO!

The weekend starts with games back at the ORIGINAL polo stomping grounds, Bartholomew Park. That action kicks off at 2pm on the tennis courts near the pool on 51st, where they'll be playing pickup games all afternoon. Next up is polo at the current main field on Sunday morning, starting at 10am on the courts at Eastwood Park. That'll go for a couple hours, after which the games will move waaaaaaaay down south to the Joslin Park courts for more pickup games and the kickoff of the 2010 Austin Bike Polo League, roundabouts 3pm in the afternoon. FUCKING AWESOME! That's pretty much enough polo in 24 hours to cause an overdose in lesser bikers, and I'm relishing the opportunity. See y'all this weekend for some BIKE POLO!
