ABP: Rob's polo bike got STOLEN!
Hey folks, just got the word that Rob's rather unique bike polo bike just got stolen:
it's an older Maruishi mountain bike frame, blue, bike polo stickers all over it, distinct pink grips, rear brake, lever mounted on left side, 48 spoke 26" velocity chukker wheels, rear wheel has 22t white industries freewheel with a red band on it, one spoke tied around another, front wheel has no sticker on it. milwuakee hubs, sugino road cranks, black platform pedals with purple holdfast straps, seat is all torn up.
If you happen to see this bike out and about give me a call at 512-699-1564 and if you've got a spare lock and the balls to do so, lock it to something. I'll post Rob's contact info as soon as he gives me the ok to do so.

derek i remember when rob got those tires, i said if he put helium in them..why do people steal one of a kind polo bikes? i can understand why people steal lance armstrong type bike, but polo bikes, we make with our own fucking hands! fucking idiots...my suggestion..kill them..it's also roberts' daily transport to wheatsville..my sympath to robert...we have so much crime in abq, i keep my bike inside the restaurant i work at..with barbed wire..at home i just stay up until my stepdad wakes up at 4am..i do need a weapon here, austin, not.
