Social Cycling ATX presents: Thursday Night Social Ride - The LAST one at Scoot Inn. FUCK YEAH!

It's been nearly a week since the last one, which means the time has come around again for another fun, fabulous, frenzied and most importantly FREE THURSDAY NIGHT SOCIAL RIDE!

Despite the flap I caused by getting loco on the interwebz, I wanted to make it clear that the Thursday Night Social Ride and all other Social Cycling ATX events are and will always be 100% FREE, as in bring your wallet to tip the bartenders and buy snacky cakes, but otherwise take solace in the fact that there won't be a $25 fee or a registration list for these events.

Also heartening to me is the news that this will be the LAST time we're meeting at The Scoot Inn. FINALLY! Here's the rest of the juice if you want to know everything there is to know about tomorrow night's happening:

Hey everyone, it's hard to believe it's almost Thursday night again. My free schwag from SXSW still sits in the corner of my room and the all of that free lonestar I got at the parties is still making me a bit hazy. This week we'll get back to normal with our regular activities. Join us, if you are free.

WHERE AND WHEN: We will meet at the Scoot Inn ONE LAST TIME (map: http://tinyurl.com/ycje9w4). We meet at 7:30 then leave at 8 sharpish. Next week we'll be free of meeting at The Scoot and will be heading to our new meeting place, Metz Park (where the bathrooms have been fixed and will be free of any stench of the past.)

WHAT: It's back to the basic fun formula for this ride folks. We'll take a nice long cruise up to the old airport and play on the best playground in town and kick back for a bit. Then when we are ready, we'll be free to ride some more. When we are done, we are heading back to our original home base at the Jackalope where they will be providing FREE beer for our riders, then some bad ass drink prices when that runs out.

HOW: Social Cycling ATX rides AS traffic and not AGAINST it. We stop at red lights, stay in one lane and try and keep one lane free for cars. We are nice to our fellow riders and the other traffic that is on the road. Listen to your ride leaders, they are some nice people and have your best interest in mind.

WHAT YOU NEED: LIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!, a lock and some tip money for all of that FREE BEER that the Jackalope is throwing our way. Helmets are always a good idea, but you are free to do as you please. You are responsible for your own safety on the Thursday Night Social Ride.
