04/14/2010 - 11:45am

It's another Wednesday and that means another Hump Day Nooner Ride with Brooks and the daytime crew. Here are the details if you're still disinclined towards the facebooks:

Meet at the bridge at 11:45 am, get to know your fellow riders, ride out at 12:10-15. Head to coffee shop 30 or so minutes and then to lunch.

This is a no-drop ride, with hills. All levels are welcome. I encourage the beginners to push themselves to keep up and the faster riders to wait up. If your having trouble with the pace please let me or the group know and we will try to adjust it.

Depart: 12:10 pm.

Bring: A lock, a well tuned bike, also some spare tubes and tools wouldn't hurt.

Weather Report: High of 67°.

Last week we ran into Sean and Cooper on the bridge Sean is riding a converted pedicab around the U.S. with his dog Cooper. Follow Sean and Coopers adventures: http://rickshawusa.blogspot.com/

We also road with http://ride2recovery.com/ for a few miles.
"The Ride 2 Recovery is produced by the Fitness Challenge Foundation, (501C3) in partnership with the Military and VA Volunteer Service Office, to benefit Mental and Physical Rehabilitation Programs that feature cycling as the core activity."

This weeks flyer/photo was taken by Doug on last weeks ride. http://cycling.frenzied.us/

If you would like to sponsor this or any of our rides please contact Keith or I.

"The bridge" being the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge, of course. What else is there? Ride, coffee, eat, chill. Damn having a day job sometimes. I wish being an after-hours super hero paid better...
