Quick photos and stuffs...

Lots of fun shit has happened over the past week, and what I've enjoyed most about it is how VARIED everything's been. Sure we've had the USUAL (if there's anything usual about y'all) Thursday Night Social Ride, 5 days of Bike Polo, Hump Day Nooner Ride, Sunday Morning Fixie (or not) RIDE, and the other regular weekly events we've come to know and love. But THIS Week was different, as joining the regular rides have been new or recently re-started weekly Monday Heavy Metal Fitness Rides, Tuesday Morning Rides, the incredibly awesome cross-promotional wheeled sport extravaganza that was the Roller Derby Social Ride, a recumbent meetup of all sorts of unique bikes, and even an exibition match of the most incredibly awesome sport on wheel, UNICYCLE FOOTBALL! That shit was completely badass, and now I REALLY want to learn to ride a unicycle so I can give it a go.

Even the regular rides were a bit twisted this time around, what with the Social Ride being Ms. Grace's DRRTY THRRTY Party, and the imminent threat of rain lending a certain frantic edge to the rest of the events. It was a great weekend, now if only I could remember half of it...

Ken took some pics of the Roller Derby Ride and exhibition match, which he put in his facebook gallery. That was some good shit right there.

Of course our favorite Austin cycling photographer DougMC owned them all, shooting the 'Bent Event, bike polo, the Fixie (or not) Ride, a whole lot of Unicycle Football, and squeezed somewhere in there he managed to capture the end of the MS-150. Doug, you freaking rule.
