Yellow Bike Project needs your old furniture! Let's help them out.

Pete Dahlberg of the Austin Yellow Bike Project sent me a request for a few specific pieces of furniture. If you have any of the following collecting dust around your pad, shoot him a note and let the YBP folks know:

We're setting up the different sections off the new mezzanine, and looking for some kind-of specific furnitures. If you could list the needs on the blizzog, it would be hella snazzy:

-a small-to-medium desk, preferably with some drawers and a reasonable amount of character.
-waiting room or office or loungey-type furniture (not cloth-upholstered; vinyl or similar, so it won't soak up dust).
-bar stools
-foldable chairs

DO NOT give them crap. Seriously. I know you want to get rid of that old shag 70s couch that sags in the middle and has an odd unidentifiable odor emanating from its depths, but send that one to Goodwill. These guys do amazing outreach into the community beyond the building of their iconic Yellow Bikes, so lets take care of them in return. If I showed up there next time and saw an office set decked out in leather and mahogany I'd love you forever.
