FULL (FLOWER) MOON CRUISE - Thursday night!

Though there was a bit of debate on the timing, the bumps have been ironed out, tradition has been upheld, and this Thursday night at 11:59pm the night owl denizens of Austin's bike community will descent upon the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge to take part in this month's Full Moon Cruise! I have no idea as to where we're heading or what's going on, other than to say "FOLLOW THE MOON!" and it won't steer you wrong.

As to the inclusion of the word "Flower" in the ride's name, here's what ye olde Farmers Almanac has to say about that:

Full Flower Moon – May In most areas, flowers are abundant everywhere during this time. Thus, the name of this Moon. Other names include the Full Corn Planting Moon, or the Milk Moon.

So charge up that flower power, eat them corn flakes, chug a tall glass of vitamin-enriched milk and COME ON THE RIDE! I'm sure there'll be a Thursday Night Social Ride contingent who'll be cruising to the ride, so just follow them over if you happen to be out socializing when the witching hour strikes. I know I've been missing rides left and right these days (life rules x1000000) but I'll be sure to be on this one, so come howl at the moon with me!
