Social Cycling ATX presents: Hump Day NOONER Ride - Makin' it RAIN!
First off, in respect to the weather report you should probably click this, this or THIS and just let it play in the background. Alright, now you may continue on to the event...
Looks like it's going to be a wet one. Don't let that stop you this is a rain or shine ride.
We meet at the ped. bridge at 11:45 am, get to know your fellow riders, ride out at 12:10. Head to coffee and then lunch. Rides are between 5 and 10 miles. The route is determined on the fly.
This is a no-drop ride, with hills. All levels are welcome. I encourage the beginners to push themselves to keep up and the faster riders to wait up. If your having trouble with the pace please let me or the group know and we will try to adjust it.
Depart: 12:10 pm.
Bring: A lock, a well tuned bike, swim suit, also some spare tubes and tools wouldn't hurt.
Weather Report: High of 88° and wet. Perfect ;)

Y'all know the drill. Wednesday, 11:45am(ish) on the P-Bridge is where everybody congregates, and 12:10(ish) is when they leave. If your only excuse for not attending is the rain you're a punk. RIDE!

(There was a rebuttal song, http://www.discogs.com/Chocolate-Milk-Mama-The-Rain/release/795084, but it's not on youtube.)
Rain would seem to be a pretty popular thing to sing about! (It's fun to ride in too, especially when it's hot.)
Wow Doug, knowing you I thought you'd go more in this direction: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzFnYcIqj6I
