Free entrance to Barton Springs TODAY only!

If you're looking to take a dip Friday, you can swim in Barton Springs Pool for free.

In honor of the 16th anniversary of the passing of the Save Our Springs ordinance protecting water quality, swimmers can take the plunge at no charge.

Barton Springs is the fourth largest spring in Texas.

In 1992, voters passed an ordinance giving greater protection to development affecting the spring and Edwards Aquifer.

Barton Springs Pool is open from 5 a.m. - 10 p.m. year-round.

...so bike on down there and GO SWIMMING! It's AWESOME out! I'm pissed I'm not out there!
