Bicycle Clown Flash Mob at the UT Bike Auction today! Oh yeah, and the UT Bike Auction...

Here's one for you quick-footed Arlecchinos out there. Word on the street is there's going to be a Bicycle Clown Flash Mob descending on tonight's UT Bike Auction.

BOTH Events happen on the 5th Floor of the Trinity Garage (1815 Trinity), with the Bike Clown Flash Mob descending upon the scene at 5pm, and the Auction kicking off at 5:30pm but get there early to check out the AMAZING DEALS (a Lamborghini-branded bike? lol). Here's the actual official word on the clown bidness:

Clown out at the Annual UT Bike Auction. Dress up in your goofiest clown costume as possible.

Hang out at the Annual Bike Auction - a great resource for a deal on a used bike. The bike auction will be held Wednesday, September 8th on the 5th floor of Trinity Garage. Viewing will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the auction to start at 5:30 p.m. with staggered finish times.

The "Clown Posse" will leave the auction for a group ride around town,... finishing the ride at carousel Lounge for some drinks!

Seriously though folks these are abandoned bikes, so don't expect TOO much in the way of in-shape and maintained. Good for polo bikes, tall bikes, and any other wacky project you might envision. Go crazy and get cheap stuff. Or come as a clown and clown around. Either way, after the Auction the clowns are going to Carousel Lounge for drinks. Why not accompany them on your new bike?
