That's right folks, this time around we're going to watch the ATXBPSC guys knock balls around at Eastwoods Park, then we'll be heading to Waterloo Cycles for a party that includes a motherfucking bounce castle. So pumped for that. Here are the full details from the Facebooks:

Hi everyone. It's just about time for the Thursday Night Social Ride. This week we are going to ride, watch some bike polo, help the polo folks raise a little money while we drink their beer, ride some more then end up at a Moon Bounce keg party at Waterloo Cycles. More details below. Read up.

ROUTE: http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Polo-Waterloo

WHERE AND WHEN: Right by Fiesta Gardens. Just east of the 1-35 bridge on the Nort...h shore of Town Lake.

WHAT: A nice long bike ride around town at a leisurely pace with one stop and an after party.

We are going to stop by Eastwoods Park to watch (and play with) our local polo club ATXBPSC (lol, omg, byob) http://atxbpsc.ning.com/ where they will have a keg waiting for us. At least a buck per beer is the suggested donation. Money raised will go toward helping them put on a national tournament held here on Halloween weekend.

After all of the watching, playing, drinking and fundraising is over we will ride some more, then end up at Waterloo Cycles http://waterloocycles.com/ where my good friend Lauren and her dad, Michael, who owns the shop, are throwing us a Moon Bounce (http://tinyurl.com/3ymuwf7) Keg Party.

Let's drink a bunch of keg beer then hop into the Moon Bounce. Really. It's a great idea.

We will be having a dance party in the parking lot as well courtesy of at least one music bike. Thanks, Roddy.

Lauren says "it'll beer cups for $2 (free refills) and unlimited bouncing for a buck." There is also a beer store across the street for those old enough to purchase.

HOW: Social Cycling Austin rides AS traffic and NOT AGAINST it. We do NOT run red lights, we stay in one lane as best we can, let cars pass and yield the right of way. We are nice to our fellow riders and all of the other traffic on the road. Listen up to the volunteer ride leaders. They have your fun and safety in mind and are good people.

WHAT YOU NEED: LIGHTS, LIGHTS LIGHTS (both front and back), a lock, a valid ID and donation money for both stops on the ride. A helmet is always a good idea, but I will leave that up to you. You are responsible for your own safety on the TNSR. An extra tube and a pump are highly recommended as well.

That's all of the details. It's going to be a blast so come ride and play with us.

See everyone by the lake on Thursday.

Bring that money! The polo crew is hosting a big tournament here in town next month, and they need a little bit of the financial love to help get them there. Plus, a fucking BOUNCE CASTLE!
