Break-in at Blue Genie leaves them 2 tall bikes short.
I just got a note from the fellers at Blue Genie over on Springdale regarding a break-in and burglary at the shop last night. Amongst the tools and other gear that got stolen they also had two rather tall (21" MTB and 62cm road bike) bicycles taken:
Just wanted to get the word out. Last night someone broke into Blue Genie Art and stole a bunch of our tools, but they also made off with Chris' Tom Teesdale 29er and the single speed Falcon I built for Josh. They were the 2 tallest bikes in the shop, they ignored all the smaller bikes (they had to push past my 54cm Kelly to get to the niner). The TeT is all black with no lables, mostly Sram, set up 1x9 and a TeT custom 5 piece fork, Stylo cranks with a Joshua ring, Salsa post, ti Flite saddle, Azonic flat bars. 21" frame. There isn't another one like it in town. The Falcon was also black with 70s orange decals, Stronglight cranks and ring, technomic stem, shellac'd drop bars with brown hoods and a Turbo saddle. 62" frame. Chris built the Tet himself over the last year and I built the Falcon. Both Josh and Chris use these bikes as their primary transportation and we'd really like to get them back. If anyone sees them please let me know. Thanks,
Dan--
