Announcing The Skellies Weekly Ride! Ride! Ride!
Starting Thursday, November 11th, 2010 the Skellies will be riding even more! Every Thursday!
The Skellies Weekly Ride is a chance for us to put even more miles on our two-wheels. It's an opportunity to roll around and explore even more sights and sounds of this urban terrain we call Austin. Every Thursday, we'll ride.
Every Thursday, we'll meet and end at different spots than the previous week and change things up a bit. This will allow us to explore different areas of Austin every Thursday with fresh new routes.
The Skellies Weekly Ride is about putting riding up front. We'll ride around 15+ miles every week, and we'll only stop as needed to mass-up, yield to right-of-way cars, stop at red lights, etc.
We'll meet every Thursday night at 6:30pm and roll out at 7pm. Let's get ready to ride! The Skellies Weekly Ride!
15+ miles at a decent pace and ending at a bar. Not too bad a Thursday if you ask me, and a great option to the gargantuan Social Ride. Thanks Nam and crew!
