Tickets are $10 per program or $25 for everything. Go with the $25. Here's more information from an email sent out by Nathan from YBP:
So far there hasn't been any info posted on the website besides the dates, but it sounds like Nathan from Yellow Bike Project was able to get the scoop on what's going on. Check it:
I just heard that the Bicycle Film Festival is coming to Austin. The festival tours international cities each year 17 this year showing the best submissions for the year. This is Austin's first year to be on the tour.
I talked to the founder Brendt Barbur yesterday on the phone for a half hour about what they need to make the event a success. It sounds like he needs help because he know few people in the bicycle community in Austin as opposed to many of the other cities on the tour. It is a bit of a long story why they are even coming to Austin but the short of it is that it is on short notice. Due to the level of positive feedback they decided to up the screenings from 1 screening on 1 night to 4 screenings on 2 nights, Friday and Saturday the 19th and 20th of September. The screenings will be in the 150 person capacity theater at Studio 501 at 7pm and 9pm. He said that he is working with Patrick, the bicycle messenger, to put on an alleycat and I think that there is an after-party planned at Mellow Johnnys. It sounds like they need help in a few ways organizing the event.
1) They need help with distribuition of postcards to be handed out to friends and friends of friends.
2) They are looking for large organizations to promote the event: Bicycle Shops, Yellow Bike, ACA newsletters.
3) He was wondering if anyone in town does bicycle valet parking and I told him to talk to ACA.
4) They are looking for a PA to borrow for
5) Individuals to help organizeLet me know if you are interested in spreading the word and or helping out. I'll let everyone know when things are a bit more final and there are postcards to hand out.
