Bike-in movie at the Broken Neck: Breaking Away!

Next Tuesday there's gonna be a bike-in movie over at the Broken Neck, being hosted by everyone's favorite bike messenger. No, not Kevin Bacon, Russel! Check it out:

I know I've been talking about this for awhile, and now I'm finally gonna do it. I wanted to make a big deal and do a cool flyer and all that, but I just can't seem to get myself to do it. So, instead, I'm just gonna post bulletins with links and hopefully that will be enough.

This coming Tuesday, 9/9, at about 8:00, I'll be showing "Breaking Away" at The Broken Neck (message me if you need directions).
If you're not familiar with this movie, it's the classic bike film and you really need to get over here and watch it with me. This is a BYOP (Bring Your Own Popcorn) event, and you may want to bring your own chair if you don't want to sit on the floor.

"Dave, nineteen, has just graduated high school, with his 3 friends, The comical Cyril, the warm hearted but short-tempered Moocher, and the athletic, spiteful but good-hearted Mike. Now, Dave enjoys racing bikes and hopes to race the Italians one day, and even takes up the Italian culture, much to his friends and parents annoyance. While meanwhile, the 4 friends try to break away from their townie, Indiana reputation while fighting with nearby college snobs."

P.S. If we finish the movie early enough and there's enough support, I may be convinced to put on "American Flyer" (cameo appearance from Eddy Merckx).

If you don't know where the Broken Neck is just google the mofo, but it's basically at Springdale and Caesar Chavez, if memory serves correctly. Two movies in one night, decisions decisions!
